New Year Nails!

Hello everyone! 

I guess I should firstly wish everyone a happy New Year and say (rather belatedly) that I hope you all had a great Christmas! 

I hope you all saw the New Year in in style and had a wonderful night! I spent mine listening to some incredible music and dancing well in to the early hours. 

I planned on uploading an OOTD but totally forgot to take a picture! So I thought I'd show you what I wore on my nails. 

I used New York Colour Cosmetics 'Expert Last Nail Polish' in 'Money never sleeps'. And gave myself a feature nail by using Barry M's 'Amethyst Glitter' Nail Paint on my thumbnails. I love this deep green colour, it has an almost metallic finish which I think sets it aside from a lot of other green polishes which are out there to buy.

I love the 'Expert Last' formula more than NYC's 'In a New York Colour Minute' formula. I definitely think it's worth paying the slight price difference, as the 'Expert Last' range lasts a good week on the nails (it says it'll last 10 days on the packaging, but I do notice slight chipping after 7 days). The 'In a New York Colour Minute' range is priced at £1.79, and the 'Expert Last' one is £2.49. NYC Cosmetics are available from Superdrug over here in the U.K if you're wondering where you can pick them up!

I love Barry M's glitter Nail Paints as they last a good amount of time without chipping and you can build a really opaque colour up with them. As with any glitter nail polish, they can be quite difficult to get off, but all you need is a little elbow-grease and they'll come off perfectly fine!

I must apologise for my lack of posts and the large gap between when they go up. I'm more in the swing of things now, and hopefully the New Year will bring me the drive to get posting more often!
